VocalPoint is the performing branch of the Santa Barbara Vocal Jazz Foundation, a nonprofit organization established to promote, develop, and further the enjoyment and understanding of the Vocal Jazz Art Form through these four objectives:
Produce Vocal Jazz performances for the benefit of the community at large.
Provide children and young adults with an opportunity to experience Vocal Jazz as a live art form in their schools.
Act as a library and resource for Vocal Jazz compositions and arrangements.
Develop an understanding of Jazz as a vocal art by producing workshops in performance and arranging of music for voices in the Jazz idiom.
