Originally formed in 1996 out of the ashes of the Santa Cruz, California-based
punk band Stench, Sick Shift has since then relocated to Santa Barbara,
undergone a number of member changes, and has finally evolved into the fine-tuned
and closely-knit group it is today.
Sick Shift began by playing at parties in Santa Barbara and immediately enjoyed
a devoted local following.
Nowadays, they are becoming well known among the surf/skate punks in various
areas of California.
ABOUT OUR MUSIC:
New School Punk/Pop. --- Fast, fun, melodic, and sometimes heavy.
Sick Shift is a high-octane, supercharged vehicle of punk rock. The
music consists of technical, melodic-hardcore with catchy harmonies. Basically,
it's the ideal type of music to listen to in order to get amped, or to play
while partying and raising hell. Listen to some kick ass songs.
