-Julie Carlson
"For me, the real power of music lies in the harmony that music creates
among people. Both of the songs from "Raw Soul" speak about some simple,
but very difficult, ways to make a better world: love, dreams, and the
ability to hold on. I saw this power in action the first time I sang "Hold
On," which was during a march against hate that turned into a celebration
of community. Let's keep this power alive."
